Virginia "Ginny" L. Mohney of Clarion, passed away peacefully on July, 12, 2025, at the Clarion Hospital.

Born on March 22, 1941 to Amos and Alma Raybuck. Ginny attended Brookville School District. She married the love of her life Claude Mohney, on June 5, 1965. Together they shared decades of love, laughter and dancing.

Ginny was also well-known for her warm hospitality and love for cooking. Whether it was a full meal or a snack, she found joy in feeding anyone or anything that stopped by her home. Her kitchen was always open and her heart even more so.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarion.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey Mohney of Foxburg, and his fiancee Laura Jamison. She is also survived by 4 nieces and 1 nephew.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Claude on March 27, 2019, her parents and her brothers, Francis and Richard Raybuck.

Arrangements are being made by Goble Funeral Home. Per Ginny's wishes, there will be no visitation. A private memorial service will be held and internment will take place in the Clarion cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ginny's honor to Tri-County Animal Rescue Ctr., 9562 Route 322, Shippenville, PA 16254, reflecting on her lifelong love of pets.
