Obituary

Sharon Lee Fye, born September 3, 1949, in Wildwood, Allegheny County, PA, passed away peacefully of natural causes on December 15, 2025, at Clarion Hospital. She was 76 years old.

Sharon lived a life filled with love and devotion to her family and her passions. A true sports enthusiast, she was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR. Her love for television was well known, especially for the show "Mountain Monsters" and various game shows that brought her joy and entertainment. She was a faithful member of the New Hope Community Church.

In addition to her personal interests, Sharon was a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project, showing her commitment to those who have served her country. Her life was a testament to kindness, warmth, and unwavering support for those around her.

Sharon is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Sidney and Delores Cyphert; her cherished husband, Thomas Fye; and siblings, Richard Cyphert, Sidney Cyphert III, Robert Carroll Cyphert, and Carol Ann Gumpher.

She leaves behind her loving children: son Daniel Reid and wife Michelle, daughter Dawn Christie and husband Jim, and sons Chip Fye and wife Kim, Timothy Fye and wife Melissa, and Jonathon Fye and wife Melissa. Sharon's memory will also be cherished by her surviving siblings: brother Donald R. Cyphert and wife Diana, brother Allan Cyphert and wife Penny, sister Sandra Jean Cyphert, sister Linda Marie Fox, and sister Dana Sue Clark and husband Jim.

Her legacy extends to her grandchildren, who will fondly remember her as a supportive and caring grandmother: Kelly Flick and husband Scott, Stephanie Morrow and husband Sam, Joey Fye and wife Chelsey, Cody Fye and wife Sara, Jacob Fye and wife Rachel, Jacob Reid, Justin Fye and wife Keanna, Ashlee Preston and husband Travis, and Linzee Fye. Sharon was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored.

Though there will be no formal funeral services, Sharon's family and friends will carry her spirit in their hearts, celebrating her life and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory, 330 Wood St, Clarion.
