Sandra R. McKissick of Falls Church, VA, formerly of Clarion, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Alexandria Hospital. Sandra was the daughter of the late Ray T. and Lillian E. McKissick. She was survived by 14 nieces and nephews. She is survived and will be missed by her close companion, Ken Jenkins, together with a host of former coworkers and friends. Known affectionately as "San", she worked for the National Paint and Coatings Association (now American Coatings Association) for 43 years serving in a variety of important roles including her last position as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO. Her loyalty to the organization and to her colleagues was unsurpassed, often quietly saving both junior and senior staff from their mistakes. She was kind, supportive, and possessed a quick wit and a keen sense of humor. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at 11:00 am at Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street, Clarion, PA, 16214. Visitation will be held the same day from 10:00 AM until time of services. Interment will follow in the Clarion Cemetery.
