Robert T. McCamant died unexpectedly on Monday, October 19, 2015. He was 34 years of age.
Rob was born on June 9th, 1981, in Clarion. Rob grew up spending a lot of time with his Mom, his, Granny and Granpappy at Rehoboth Church Road. He attended Clarion-Limestone Schools.
He was a past member of the Eagles and VFW Clubs. He liked to read mysteries and non-fiction books and was an avid Steelers fan.
Rob first worked at County Market as a shelf stocker. He later worked for CTS of Knox, where he learned how to lay carpet and tile. He also worked for SMI and New Era, where he learned to install dry wall.
Rob will always live on in our hearts. He is survived by his mother, Sue Beveridge (Ron Kemmer) and his grandfather, Charlie Beveridge, all of Summerville; his father, Larry (Cindy) McCamant, of Florida, formerly of Mayport; his sister, Jessie McCamant; his "daughters," who he absolutely adored, Lilianna and Leila Wert; and their mother, the love of his life, Nikki Wert, of New Bethlehem.
He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Charletta and Randall Rupert, and his cousin David Rupert with whom he had a close bond, and his wife Tara, and their children Gabe and Alia, all of Sarasota, FL; his aunt Kathie Williams (Denny Corbett) of Petrolia; his cousins, Becky Williams, McKenzie Dolmovich, Monica, Mike and Malea Cussins, all of North Carolina; his aunt and uncle Rita and Jerry Boocks, and cousins, Staci Boocks, and Christopher Campbell, of Shippenville; his cousins, Jody Rouse, Anela Shanafelt, and Ava Rouse, all of Butler; his cousin Joe Rouse and fianc Amy Tollis, of Pittsburgh.
Rob was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Beveridge; an uncle, Michael Beveridge; his paternal grandparents; an aunt, Deb Lindemuth; and his buddy / his dog, Smokey; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street, in Clarion, where friends and family will be received from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday with Rev. Howard Beveridge officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
