Peggy A. Stromyer, born Peggy A. Wensel, passed away on October 28, 2026. She was born on July 15, 1960, in Clarion, Pennsylvania.

Peggy will be remembered for the life she built and for the work she did as a cook and server. In those roles, she offered care and hospitality in everyday ways, serving others with the steady effort and personal connection that such work so often brings.

Family was an important part of Peggy’s life. She is survived by her sons, Jason Bonner of Clarion and Justin Bonner of Marcellus, New York. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Wensel of Centerville, Pennsylvania, and by her granddaughter, Mable Bonner. Those who knew Peggy will remember the place she held in the lives of her family and the lasting bond she shared with them.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sylvester Wensel, and her mother, Judy P. Dunkle Wensel.

Peggy A. Stromyer will be remembered with love by her family and by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
