Nancy E. Steiner, 74, of Clarion, passed away peacefully of natural causes at her residence on September 18, 2024.

She was born in Uniontown, PA on December 7, 1949 to the late Robert and E. Pauline (Johnson) Chalfant.

Nancy was an LPN at Clarion Hospital for numerous years.

Nancy is survived by her children Shawn (Sara) German, Joel (Karri) German, Andrew Steiner, and Judson Steiner; grandchildren Kierstin (Max) Krepps, Calvin German, Nyah German, Liam German, and Carter Steiner; great-grandchildren Harrison Krepps and Callahan Krepps; nephews David Chalfant and Mark Chalfant. In addition, Nancy is survived by her former husband, Harold Steiner; her friends Sharon Hillwig, Donald McCord, and her dear, loving, and very special friend, who was like family, Martha Campbell.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Samuel German, brother Richard Chalfant, and niece Julie DePue.

Funeral services will be private.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home in Clarion.
