Kelly Ann Minich, a cherished wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Clarion on June 30, 2026, at the age of 62.
Born on August 2, 1963, in Brookville, she was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel and Rhoda (Smith) Girts.
Kelly's life was filled with love, laughter, and music. She had a profound passion for music and loved attending rock concerts, where she found joy and camaraderie among fellow enthusiasts. A devoted fan of NASCAR, Kelly thrilled at the speed and excitement of the races, attending several events over the years.
Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she was a devoted member of the Methodist church, finding comfort and community in her spiritual beliefs.
Kelly treasured the time she spent traveling, especially enjoying cruises with her sisters, where they created lasting memories and shared endless laughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Rhoda Girts; her brother, Samuel Girts Jr.; and her niece, Bethany Smith.
Kelly leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, David W. Minich of Clarion; her brother, Phillip (Kristen) Girts of Atlanta, GA; her sisters, Cathy Vossburg of Shippenville, Kimberly Girts of Clarion, and Amy Shay of Clarion.
Her legacy lives on through her nieces and nephews: Edward (Carrie) Vossburg of Apollo, Michael (Alaina) Smith of Glenshaw, Crystal (Tim) Blarney of Savannah, GA, Jacklyn (David) White of Fayetteville, GA, Heidi (Brad) Jones of Butler, and Amanda (Joe) Baughman of Natrona Heights. Additionally, she will be fondly remembered by several great-nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory in Clarion.
As per family wishes there will be no visitation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Kelly's warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
