Born on July 7, 1931, in Leeper, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Wilna (Slocum) Zerbe. She married Wayne (Jack) Allaman, Sr., on January 22, 1951, and he survives. They celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary earlier this year. Marie was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband on Allamans Pine View Farms all throughout her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all around her. She loved her special cats over the years, particularly Lucky and Squirrelly. She was a member of the Shippenville United Methodist Church. Marie is survived by a son, Wayne Allaman, Jr. and his wife Diana, of Butler; a daughter, Susie Kapp and her husband William (Joe), of Shippenville; and a son, Randy Allaman and his wife Clara, also of Shippenville. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Steven Allaman of Butler; Christopher Allaman and his wife Chelsea, also of Butler; Kathryn Kapp of Shippenville; Scott Allaman of Shippenville; and Casey Allaman of Shippenville. Marie was very excited about the birth of her first great-grandchild, Liam Allaman, in August. Marie can now be with her son, Andrew Allaman, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother and his wife, Dewayne and Jane Zerbe, and her sister, Judy Zerbe.
