Obituary

James E. Rossey, age 73, of Clarion, passed away at Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital on September 30, 2016. Born on June 17, 1943 in Clarion Township, Clarion County, he was the son of Russell and Sue (Hughes) Rossey. After graduating from Clarion-Limestone High School in 1961, he served his country as a member of the United States Army Reserves. Mr. Rossey worked for the PA Department of Transportation as an equipment operator. He enjoyed racing and travelling around the country with his friend, Jack Eck and visiting McDonald's and Burger King whenever he could. Mr. Rossey is survived by his daughter, Janice Earp; his three brothers, Sam Rossey and wife Joy of Venus, Tom Rossey and wife Shirley of Clarion Township, and George Rossey of Georgia; and his sister Suzanne "Scott" Rhoades of Clarion Township. Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory in Clarion. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation, and services will be private.
