James D. McCleary, age 93, of Miola, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot, Pa. He was born in Miola on February 19, 1929 to the late Clarence and Lucy (Younker) McCleary. James proudly served his country in the United States Army. James is survived by three sons, Donald (Yun Sun) McCleary, James McCleary and Jeffrey McCleary; 2 grandchildren, Jamie and Kevin McCleary and great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Nicole and Edward Delgado. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Helen McCleary, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be at Miola Cemetery.
