Obituary

Jacqueline M. Primas, of Penn Hills joined her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 8, 2024 while recovering at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo, PA.

Jackie was born in Pittsburgh on August 11, 1922 to the late Robert and Nannie (Schrader) McCoy.

She graduated from Westinghouse High school and continued her education at Kentucky State University where she graduated in 1943 with a Bachelor's degree in social work. While there, she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and served as Homecoming Queen.

In 1944 she married T. Wilson Primas, Jr. and they shared a loving 50-year marriage until his passing in 1994.

Jackie was an avid traveler, card player and Steeler fan.

She was very strong in her faith in God and was an active member of Mount Hope Community Presbyterian Church on Frankstown Road.

She will be sorely missed by her son T.W. Primas III and his wife Sheila of Tinley Park, IL, and her daughter Robin P. Cable and her husband Randon of Clarion, PA, grandsons Sean Primas and Ramo Bey, granddaughter Syndl Gray, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home in Clarion.
