Obituary

Jack William Hiles of St. Petersburg passed away from this world and into the waiting arms of his Lord on March 14, 2017 at his residence after an extended illness. He was 86 years of age. Born on January 4, 1931 in Bruin, he was the son of the late Clarence Byron "CB" and Sarah Catherine (Forringer) Hiles. He was married to the former Frances Louise Mohney who survives. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 584 and worked in the construction industry as an electrician. He enjoyed tinkering in his shed. Jack was meticulous and always took pride in his work. In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his children, Sheri Rhoads and husband Von, Jacquie Ellis and husband Harlan, Catherine Chuculate and husband Wayne, Barry Hiles and wife Tammy, Connie Stoddard and husband Randy, and Joni Beichner and husband Bruce; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and a special nephew and niece, Sonny and Sissy. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; one infant sister; one infant grandson; and recently, his beloved dog, Bailey. Memorial donations may be made to the Park Hill Church of God, 3314 Lime Plant Road, Parker, PA 16049 (www.parkhillcog.org). Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where Jack's family will receive visitors on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. An additional visitation will be held on Friday from 1-2 p.m. at the Park Hill Church of God, 3314 Lime Plant Road, Parker, PA 16049. Military honors will be accorded by the Honor Guard from Parker VFW Post 7073 prior to funeral services which will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the church with Pastor Eric Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in the Conneration Cemetery.
