Howard Nelson Beveridge, a cherished son of Clarion, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the age of 83.

A beloved husband for 60 years to Marilyn Jean Beveridge, Howard was also a devoted father to Rebecca Beveridge, who he now joins in heaven, as well as Deborah Young of Missouri; Charles (Raileane) Beveridge of Pennsylvania; Timothy (Adriana) Beveridge of Pennsylvania; Mark (Courtney) Beveridge of Pennsylvania; and Phillip Beveridge of Pennsylvania.

He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Howard was the fourth child of the late Charles and Helen Beveridge, and he is survived by his brothers Dan, James, Thomas, and Richard, along with his sister Mary.

Howard's unwavering devotion to the Lord shaped his life and guided his 50 years as a committed minister and missionary in Brazil, South America. Beyond his ministry, he was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in nature and hunting. A celebrated athlete in his youth, Howard competed at the state level in pole vaulting in Pennsylvania.

He was a loving father, a loyal friend, and a true inspiration to all who knew him. His devotion and love were evident in all aspects of his life, leaving a lasting legacy for those he touched. Howard will be deeply missed, but the example he set will live on in the hearts of many.

Friends and family will be received from 10:00am to 11:00am on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory Inc: 330 Wood St. Clarion, PA 16214. A funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home with Rev. Perry Case officiating. Interment will be in the New Rehoboth-Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
