Hope Carll. 67, a resident of the Shippenville Nursing rehabilitation Center, died peacefully of Sunday, August 2 following a lengthy struggle with diabetes. Hope was born January 24, 1959. She was the daughter of Arthur "Bill" Carll and Velma Perry Carll of Newmansville, PA.

Hope was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Clarion, PA and they became her family in the latter years of her life. Hope wished, especially to thank the Joseph Grunenwald family for including her in so many of their holiday celebrations.

Hope overcame many obstacles in her life with tenacious determination. She was a gentle and kind spirit, fondly remembered by many who only knew her as Hope. Hope was a voracious learner and avid reader.

A sincere thank you to Life NWPA for the compassionate care that Hope received.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory: 330 Wood St. Clarion, PA 16214 with the Rev. Harold "Jake" Jacobson, officiating. Inurnment will be at Amity Cemetery in Newmansville.
