Helen D. Touster, 100, died in Clarion, PA on November 1, 2025.

Helen was born in Meridian, ID in 1924 to William and Sada Davidson. Raised in Meridian, Helen attended college in the state of Washington. After graduating with a degree in speech and theater from the University of Washington, she moved to New York City. She studied acting at the American Theater Wing and the Actors Studio, supporting herself as a secretary. Helen met and married Saul Touster. They moved to Buffalo, NY where they started a family. Helen got involved in Buffalo's theater scene acting, directing, and teaching. Helen and Saul divorced in the mid-1960's. Helen returned to work in a variety of positions including as a public school English teacher, a secretary, and a staff member at the Studio Arena Theater. She retired and moved to Clarion in 2004 to be with her son and his family.

In retirement, Helen kept active and expressed her creativity through sewing, knitting, crocheting, and playing the mandolin.

Helen is survived by her children, Natasha and Jonathan, her daughter-in-law, Lisa Osachy, her grandchildren, Brandon (McKaila) and Sarah, and great grandchildren, Mazi and Amina.
