Harvey Michael McBride, of Venus, died on October 20, 2015, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was 60 years of age. Born on January 26, 1995, in Erie, he was one of four sons of the late Frank and Wanda (Slaughenhaupt) McBride. After high school, he served in the United States Army. He worked as a warehouse manager for SORCE for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He married the former Cindy Reed and she survives, along with their two daughters, Jessie and Jamie, also of Venus. He is also survived by two brothers, Storm McBride of Shippenville and Jason McBride of Knox; and a sister-in-law, Shirley McBride of Shippenville; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew McBride. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
