Harry S. Madison, of Clarion, passed away on June 30, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. He was 73 years of age.
Born on March 8, 1943 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Harry A. and Clara T. (Fazenbaker) Madison. He served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1963 until 1965. He was a heavy equipment operatory and truck driver for most of his life.
In 2010, he married the former Elaine J. Bishop, who survives.
Harry was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ellwood City. He enjoyed building, carpentry, helping people, hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Doug Madison and wife Mary E., of South Carolina, Rodney Madison of South Carolina, and Harry Madison of North Carolina; his daughter, Linda Buie and husband William of Tennessee; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Harry is also survived by his brother Paul Madison (Della McCune) of Lucinda; and his sisters Susan Miller and husband Mike of Ellwood City, and Mary Smell of Ambridge; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
