Gerald Lynn Ashbaugh, age 67, of Clarion passed away on January 7, 2016 at the Clarion Hospital. Born on March 18, 1948 in Brookville, he was the son of the late Clinton and Elizabeth Fox Ashbaugh. After he graduated from Clarion-Limestone High School, he worked for Clarion Builders Supply and the RSVP Window factory. He served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Air Force. In 1991, he married the former Genevieve Kaye who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jerry Ashbaugh and his wife Bonnie of Michigan, his step-son Brad Schmader of Lucinda, his step-daughter Rebecca Snyder of Pittsburgh, and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Clinton Ashbaugh of Florida. Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday with Rev. Nancy Zahn officiating.
