Eunice Mae (Mama) (Pete) Theiss (87) of Clarion, PA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 22, 2024 at home surrounded by family.

Eunice was born in Sligo, PA on December 27th, 1936. The daughter of the late Harry and Rosey Neiswonger.

Eunice was married to the love of her life and soul mate Lancy Lee Theiss (who preceded her in death on December 6th, 2020) for 65 years.

After attending high school at Union in Rimersburg, she went on to work at OI in Clarion and marry Lee shorty after. After marriage they were involved in many endeavors, which Eunice and Lancy worked together at.

She was known for keeping her cars and house spotless and walking almost every day she could. In addition to that, Eunice enjoyed meeting celebrities and getting autographs. Also she was a pretty big sports fan especially of the Pirates, Steelers, and Bills.

Though she will be missed by all that loved and cared about her, we will see her again in just a little while. Find peace in the fact that Eunice is finally reunited in heaven with her greatest love on earth, Lancy. She has missed him more than anything, we know they are happy to be back in each others arms.

Eunice was a great loving wife, amazing mother, incredible grand-mother and wonderful friend to all. She loved her family more than anything and always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Eunice is survived by 3 sons and daughter in-laws: Terry and Marianne Theiss, Ted and Vicki Theiss, and Ray and Melissa Theiss all of Clarion, PA. 8 grand-children: Michelle and her husband Wes Lander, Nikki Eckard, Cory and his wife Hilary Theiss, Lance and his wife Jocelyn Theiss, Sterling Theiss, Brylea Theiss, Kirstin Theiss and her fiancé Josh Gearhart, and Peyton Yeaney. 8 great grand-children: Danica Lander, Ava & Tayven Eckard, Clayton & Lakin Theiss, Landon & Harper Theiss, and Ethan Sturdevant. And several nieces and nephews. In addition she is survived by wonderful friends of the family Aaron Texter and Mary Clinger.

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband Lancy Lee Theiss, her parents Harry and Rosey Neiswonger, Her father and mother in-law Lancy L and Wilkie Theiss, a daughter Roxanne Theiss, and a grand-daughter Kelly Rae Theiss, brother Ray Neiswonger, brother Ed Harry and wife Nancy Neiswonger, sister Gurt and her husband George Unger, sister Noni and her husband Don Simpson, and brother Richard (Dick) and his wife Sis Neiswonger, sister in-laws Evelyn (Edge) Theiss and Violet Theiss. As well as nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood St, Clarion, PA on Tuesday May 28th from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm and Wednesday May 28th, from 10am to 11am followed by a Celebration of Eunice's life to take place at 11am from the funeral home with Pastor Gina DeLair from the Clarion Bible Fellowship officiating Interment will take place in the Strattanville Cemetery.
