Ellen "Jane" Garris, age 82, formerly of Clarion, passed away on September 30, 2015,at the Clarion-Forest VNA Serenity House in Shippenville. Born on July 31, 1933, in Clarion, she was daughter of the late Paul H. and Mary (Emery) Cyphert. In 1964, she married George A. Garris and he preceded her in death on September 12, 2002. Mrs. Garris was a homemaker. She enjoyed golf and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarion. She is survived by two step-sons, George A. Garris, Jr. and his significant other, Marie Florence, and William Garris, both of Clarion; and six step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul E. Cyphert. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services. Interment will be in the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
