Obituary

Ellen Louise Finnefrock Ellen Louise Finnefrock of Clarion passed away peacefully on March 13, 2019 at Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was 97 years of age. Louise was born on June 17, 1921 in Armstrong County, the daughter of the late Francis and Macie (Thompson) Campbell. On June 28, 1941 in Miola, she married Robert W. Finnefrock. Together, they shared more than 70 years of marriage and raising a family before he passed away in April, 2011. Louise was a homemaker who loved her family and watching it grow. Louise is survived by her children, a son Thomas Finnefrock of Kane; and a daughter, Judith Roncone (Robert) of Brookfield, WI. Her memory will be cherished by her seven grandchildren, Stacey Kilhoffer (Tim), Sheri Miller, Susan Finnefrock (Keith Thompson), Samantha Finnefrock (Patrick Brownson), Lori Painter (Doug), Matthew Roncone (Kim), and Stephanie VanMeter (Jeff); 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition, Louise is survived by her sisters, Evelyn Williams of Sligo, Shirley Fink (Robert) of Butler, and Sandy Hannold (Tom) of Clarion; along with a large extended family of nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Bob; her daughter-in-law, Linda; her brothers, John, James and Robert Campbell; and her sisters, Marie Corbett, Thelma McClaine, and Marion Myers. Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clarion, the Owens-Illinois Auxiliary, and the Order of the Eastern Star. Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where visitation will be received on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. An additional visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. to be followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tom Hannold officiating. Interment will be at Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
