Dorothy Louella Sarvey of Clarion passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at her home on August 30, 2019.  She was 66 years of age.  She was born on June 6, 1953 in Van the daughter of the late George and Dorothy Hunsberger.  She was married to John L. Sarvey, Sr., who preceded her in death earlier this year.  Dorothy was a devoted homemaker and mother.  She also worked as a care-giver for Clarion Helpmates.  Dorothy enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, sewing, and taking care of her dogs. She is survived by her children, son John L. Sarvey, Jr., of Clarion, daughters Joanne Walter (Richard) of Nickleville, and Janice Sarvey of Sykesville; grandson Joshua Dawson, of Brookville; two brothers, Charles and Larry Hunsberger, of Clarion; and two sisters, Donna Hartzell (Bob) of Clarion, and Lyvonne Cheeks, of Pittsburgh.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; and two sisters.  Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev.
