Dorothy Jean (Wolf) Foreman was born on February 19,1929 in Clarion, PA, the daughter of the late Leona Rose (Sievers) and George Wilford Wolf, Sr, and passed away on May 23, 2026. . She married Thomas Alexander Foreman on June 12, 1953. He passed on June 9, 2020. They had four children, Bonnie Jean Stehle of Clarion, Julie Marie Foreman of Clarion, Mary Aleta Foreman Mullen and her husband, Dennis of Emlenton, and Lloyd George Foreman (deceased). Dorothy Jean had four grandchildren, Jenny Marie Guzikowski of Sheffield, PA, David John Guzikowski and his wife Bari, of Green Acres, FL, James Paul Mullen and his wife, Emily, of Burney CA, and Bethany Ann Mullen Terwilliger and her husband, Chase of DeRidder, LA. Great grandchildren include: Eliyana Rachel Guzikowski, Lacey Rae Terwilliger, Lana Rose Terwilliger, Weston James Terwilliger, Walker Hayes Terwilliger and Aaron Hank Mullen. Dorothy Jean had two brothers, George Wolf Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Clarion and Lloyd Wolf and his wife, Lucy of Pacific Palisades, CA. Her brothers and sister-in-law Carolyn are deceased.
Dorothy Jean loved the color pink and if she had her way her whole house, inside and out would be pink. Pink represented happiness to her. Dorothy Jean loved to wear dresses or skirts, she hated slacks. She loved wearing jewelry, especially bracelets and dangly earrings. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and had many red and purple outfits. Dorothy Jean loved to socialize and be with people. At whatever social event she went to she would usually comment that the food was the best she ever ate. She enjoyed reading mystery books on her Kindle.
Dorothy Jean had many fond memories of growing up in Clarion. She especially remembers the lifelong friends that she spent many happy times with in high school. They included Louise Karns, LaGene Wise, Leona Weitz, and Mim George. She graduated from Marjorie Webster College in Washington, D.C. with a teaching degree in elementary education.
Dorothy Jean was a wonderful mother! She had a great listening ear for everyone's problems and did not judge you for your feelings. She spent many hours helping family and friends with their problems. Dorothy Jean lost her only son, Lloyd George, in an automobile accident when he was 17. She very much missed him and especially remembered him on his birthday, with was March 31st. She did a good job going on with life and had a very good attitude, but it was hard on both she and her husband Tom.
The family would especially like to thank the staff of Clarion Nursing and Rehabilitation for the superb job that they did taking care of Dorothy! Your kindness will always be appreciated.
The family of Dorothy Jean would also like to thank the Clarion Forest VNA Hospice for their excellent care and dedication.
Dorothy Jean had a very deep faith and was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Clarion, PA.
