With great sadness, we announce the passing of Dorothy "Dot" L. Davis Walter, 79, of Strattanville, PA after a courageous battle with cancer.

While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the life of a devoted wife, caring daughter, dear sister, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother whose kindness and love touched many lives.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Larry "Buck" Walter; her mother, Margaret Davis and brothers Roy, Clair and David "Elwood" Davis.

Dot graduated from Clarion-Limestone School in 1965. She looked forward to and enjoyed getting together with her classmates for reunions.

Dot retired from the Strattanville Post Office after many years of devoted service.

Above all, Dorothy treasured her family. She dearly loved her children - Jodi (Joe) of Mechanicsville, VA, Robert (Jennifer) of Clarion, PA and Kim (Jim) of Sligo, PA and her cherished grandchildren Anna (Troy), Becky (Jef), Karleigh (Donte), Jarrett, Jackie, Mackenzie (Katie), Jared (Jamie) along with their 2 daughters. She adored her great-grandchildren Liam, Lacey, Kinsley, Joseph, and Eleanor.

She is also survived by her brothers, Russell (Dusty) Davis and Ross (Jan) Davis and other loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, there will not be any visitation or service.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. This will be a time to gather to remember and celebrate the love, kindness, and joy she shared throughout her life. Family and friends will be notified once plans have been finalized.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory in Clarion.
