Obituary

Debra "Deb" Goheen, 69, of Corsica PA passed away May 24, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.

Born on January 23, 1955 in Brookville PA. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Kaye (Wiser) Heeter. She married Larry Goheen of Shippenville on August 30, 1974. Larry proceeded her in death on August 29, 2004.

Deb graduated from Keystone High School in 1972.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved in laws Edward "Shang" and Shirley Goheen and a brother-in-law Daniel Goheen, two neices, Amber Heeter and Jennifer Hillard.

She had many passions in her life, but none more than watching her grandchildren's sporting events. Deb could be found in the bleachers at every football field, baseball field, volleyball, or basketball court.

She spent the majority of her summers in the center field bleachers at Paul A Weaver Park watching Little League Games.

All of the travel sports teams felt like extended family to her.

She served as the Cheerleading Advisor for Clarion Limestone High School while her daughters were in school.

She was employed at The Blue Top Diner, The Keystone Shortway, Walmart, and TTSR at different times in her life.

She is survived by her three children, Marta (Nick) Adams, Garrett Goheen, and Deena (Scott) Love.

Many knew her as "Da", which was given to her by her grandchildren.

In addition to her children, she is survived by her 8 grandchildren Austin Songer, Kaydee (Allen) Pangallo, Marisa and Tristn Adams, Curvin and Bracey Goheen, Raegan and Tanner Love. She is also survived by a great grandson Daxton (Adams) Kocjancic, her 3 siblings, Shelly (Michael) Best, Merle "Bud" (Sharon) Heeter, and Kim (Wes) Wolfe. Also, a sister-in-law Eunice (Goheen) Shreffler. She had numerous nieces and nephews who she loved very much.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-9 and Thursday from 10:00 AM till time of services at 11:00 AM from the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory in Clarion.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the funeral home with Rev. James Deitrich officiating. Interment will follow in the Meade Chapel Cemetery.
