Obituary

Dana Shingledecker, of Clarion, passed away on December 21, 2014 after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was 59 years of age. A free spirit who marched to the beat of his own drummer, Dana was especially proud of being a member of the Gold Prospectors Association of America. He enjoyed fishing, camping, painting, woodworking, working with his hands, music, and playing guitar. Dana loved his family, friends, and his pets. Dana is survived by his brothers, Berle A., Jr. (Katie) Shingledecker of Clarion, and Alan M. (Brenda) Shingledecker of Agawum, Massachusetts. He adored his nephews and nieces, Andrew, John, Joe, Kim, and Nicole. He is also survived by his long-time girlfriend, Lisa Ganss of Clarion, and her children, Shannon Kumer and Amber Stark.
