Dale E. Murray, 58, of Clarion passed away on September 22, 2021, surrounded by love.
Dale was born on April 8, 1963. He worked at Sealy for many years until their closing and also worked at Comet, the U.I. and loved helping deliver flowers for a local flower shop.
He enjoyed watching the Steelers, hanging out with his friends, watching Chicago PD, hunting, fishing, and being the forever jokester that he was.
Dale will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Dale was predeceased by parental grandparents Ellis and Ada Murray, maternal grandparents Lee and Regis Miller, a sister Tammy Murray.
Survived by parents James and Eva Murray, brother Mike (Joni) Murray, sister Jamie (Jamie Rex) Thompson, niece Jacey (Trent) Thompson, nephew Riley Thompson, great nephew Lexon Shirey, a special aunt Debbie Monks, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by many friends that he considered family, especially those he would carry on with at the U.I., VFW, and the Tavern.
He spent his final months in the care of amazing Hospice nurses, especially Toya Henry and Casey Painter, who was a godsend. He also spent his final months with his special friends, Chris Burlingame, Chris Smith, and Jessie & Emerson Eustice by his side, along with all his loving and caring neighbors.
Dale requested there to be no visitation or funeral service and instead wanted everyone to celebrate his life along with their own. So, sit back, remember Dale, and celebrate him in your own special way. Maybe cheer on the Steelers or have a special toast with your friends. He is saying cheers from beyond.
Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory in Clarion. As per family wishes there will be no visitation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
