Cynetta Rose
Bessetti
Mar 26, 1950 — May 5, 2026
Cynetta Rose Bessetti passed peacefully into her heavenly eternal life on May 5, 2026.
She was born on March 26, 1950, to the late Leroy and Rose Kroh. A lifelong resident of Clarion County, Cynetta made an indelible mark as a wife, mother, and nurse. Her love and laughter radiated from a genuine kindness that everyone felt.
Cynetta attended Clarion-Limestone School District and later graduated from Erie Nursing School.
Cynetta married the love of her life, Richard, in 1972. They shared 53 wonderful years of marriage and raised four children together. She never missed a game, event, or performance of her kids.
Her kindness and compassion made her an exceptional nurse at Clarion Hospital for nearly 40 years. Cynetta loved the Lord and was a devoted parishioner of Saint Nicholas Catholic Church in Crates.
After retiring, Cynetta enjoyed extended RV trips to Florida and Louisiana to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She loved sports, especially cheering for the Steelers. Cynetta also enjoyed piddling around the house — tending the burn barrel, working in the garden, and cooking in the kitchen. One of her favorite pastimes was enjoying an afternoon porch beer with neighbors and visitors. Fishing trips to Gene's Camp in Theresa, New York, were among her most cherished vacations.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 53 years, Richard Bessetti; and their four children: Joe (Kim) Bessetti of Madison, Wisconsin; Dan (Hilarie) Bessetti of Winter Garden, Florida; Brad (Courtney) Bessetti of Covington, Louisiana; and Gina (Rob) Reyes of Indianapolis, Indiana.
She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Alexis Wall (Mike), Riley Moore (Daniel), Morgan, Taylor, Marlene, Olivia, Abbey, Alizarian, Slate, Emma, and Robby Brayden; and by her cherished great-granddaughter, Elowyn.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 8, 2026 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Goble Funeral Home: 330 Wood St. Clarion, PA 16214.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion, Pennsylvania with Rev. Jason Feigh presiding.
