Clifford Duane Ekard, (1952-2025), Knox.

Clifford Duane Ekard, 73, of Knox, PA, died unexpectedly at home on June 13, 2025. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia to Herbert and Ruth Ekard,

He graduated from Clarion Area High School and resided in Clarion County for most of his life. A gifted craftsman, Cliff was able to retire as a cabinet maker, and live life as he always was: easy going, spending time outdoors, gardening, fishing, hunting, and taking care of various pets.

Cliff is predeceased by his parents (Herbert L. Ekard and Ruth E. Hnot), and one brother (Georgie). He is survived by his siblings: Maureen

(Gene) Tomlinson, Avon Park, Florida; Chet (Paula) Ekard, Temecula, CA; Eileen Ekard, Steilacoom, WA; Charles (Beth) Hnot, Canonsburg, PA; and Georgia Blount, Greenville, NC, as well as several nieces and nephews. We find peace knowing that he was able to live his life doing the things that brought him joy.

He will be interred in Clarion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local animal shelter in Cliff's name are appreciated, or just take a walk in the woods and remember Cliff's good-natured, free spirit.
