Charlotte A. Hawk, age 62 of Rt 66, Shippenville, PA died 6/21/12 at the UPMC Northwest Medical Center in Seneca. Born in Oil City on 7/29/49 she was the daughter of Dwight and Luella Moyer Wedekind of Shippenville. She was married to Larry Hawk and he preceded her in death in January of 1991. She was a homemaker, enjoyed going out with friends for dinners, cooking, gardening, playing video games and her family. Surviving are her parents, three sons, Eric Hawk of Clearfield, Jamie Hawk of Strattanville and Tim Hawk of Clarion, five grandchildren, Mason, Braylynn, Zach, Robbie and Haley Hawk, and a great-grandson. Also surviving is her brother, Matthew and wife Peggy Wedekind of Shippenville, three step-grandchildren, Mason and Morgan Kriebel, and Holden Spark. She is also survived by her companion, Glenn Terwint. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Dana Wedekind. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 7-9 at the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory in Clarion. Graveside services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Wedekind Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
