Carrie M. Wingard, 47, of Shippenville, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2024 at Clarion Hospital.
She was born in Clarion on May 24, 1977 to Gerald and Theresa (Baughman) Seitz.
Carrie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Knox where she also served as a youth leader. She worked at Tom's Riverside in Knox for over 20 years.
Carrie is survived by her husband Timothy "Chip" Wingard of Shippenville; parents Gerald and Theresa Seitz of Marble; her children Jasmine (Jason) Smith of Altoona, Nately (Michael) Alvarado of Shippenville, and Christopher Wingard of Shippenville; sisters Alicia (Bill) Zacherl of Clarion, Alexis Seitz of Marble, and Chasidee Seitz of Marble; grandchildren Arden and Spencer Smith.
Carrie was preceded in death by her grandparents and her sister Geraldine Seitz.
Friends and family will be received on from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm on Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory Inc: 330 Wood St. Clarion, PA 16214. An additional viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am with President Brad Hess officiating. Interment will follow at Perry Chapel.
