Carolyn June Himes, age 91, of Clarion, passed away peacefully at her daughter's residence in Curwensville on August 23, 2023.

She was born in Sayre, PA on June 4, 1932 to the late Roy G. and Florence C. (Deubler) Wensel.

Carolyn is survived by her children: Kevin (Jackie) Himes of Clarion and Gwendolyn (Gary) Bailey of Curwensville. In addition, her grandchildren: Rebekah (Randy) Jarrell, Kari (Isaiah) Krause, Anna (Matt) Smith, Sarah (Shaun) Kline, and Colby Himes. Carolyn is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Ava Krause, Shaylee Krause, Roary Jarrell, Benjamin Jarrell, and Sophia Kline.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Russell Eugene Himes, and daughter, Deborah Kathryn Himes.

Friends and family will be received from 10am to 11am on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory: 330 Wood St. Clarion, PA 16214. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11:00am with Rev. David Selleck officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarview Memorial Park.
