Carol A. Cummings of Stone House Road, Clarion, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on September 19, 2016, following her battle with cancer.
Born on July 29, 1947 in West Monterey, Clarion County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Hazel (McFadden) Holliday.
On May 28, 1965, she married W. Eugene Cummings, who survives. Carol was a homemaker and she also worked for Servicemaster by Bell, and then Olson Cleaning of Brookville, cleaning the S&T Bank in Clarion.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching TV, sitting on the swing on the back porch, and going to Altoona to watch the trains, and to Lake Erie to sit on the beach.
She is survived by her husband and her son, Steve Cummings and his partner Sherry Clinger; and two grandchildren, Scott and Sarah Cummings, all of Strattanville.
Carol is also survived by four sisters, Mildred Ashbaugh and husband Darrell, of Lamartine, Leda Mae Pangallo and husband Richard, of Brookville, Marie Myers and husband Jerry, of Brookville, and Jean Hannold and husband Larry, of Summerville; two brothers, Don Holliday and wife Mary Jane, of Rockland, and Randy Holliday and wife Karen, of Brookville; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ethel Buzard and Beth Becker; four brothers, John Holliday, Arch Holliday, Larry Holliday, and Bob Holliday; and a nephew, Don Holliday, Jr.
The family wishes to acknowledge the care and compassionate services of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital and the Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice Program. Thank you for all that you have done.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 on Thursday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday with Rev. Nancy Zahn, pastor of the Strattanville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the New Rehoboth Cemetery.
