Candice (Hepler) Tanis, 69, of South Lake Tahoe, California passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada.  Born on February 9, 1950 in Clarion, she was the daughter of the late Russel C. and Lovell (Young) Hepler.  Candy is survived by her sister, Elise Hepler, of California.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Hepler.  Candy worked in the time-share real estate business for over 30 years in South Lake Tahoe, California.  She was a graduate of Clarion Area High School and the Pennsylvania State University.  Candy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and she loved to travel.  She will be greatly missed.  A memorial service and gathering of friends will take place at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.  All are welcome to come and share in a time of remembrance and celebration of Candy's life.
