Our hearts are filled with sadness as our sweet boy, Bailey Lane Ackerman, crossed the rainbow bridge on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024. We know that he was met with lots of love and kisses from his sister and littermate, Nala Lynn Ackerman and we take comfort in knowing they are reunited again.

Bailey loved swimming and would be in and out of the pool all day. He also liked going on Ranger Rides, hanging out in the garage with his Dad and brother Treyvin and walking to the neighbors to play with his friends, Cash, Mila, and Beaux. He had a toy moose that he took to bed with him every night. He looked forward to when Treyvin and Kiara would get home from school. Bailey loved getting treats and would anxiously wait for Kiara to get home from work because he knew she would bring him home a pup cup. He loved his Mom, Treyvin, Kiara, Mama, and Papa, but his Dad was definitely his favorite person and Bailey was always by his side. Bailey was loved with all of our hearts and he will be missed every day.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Hannah Beers and all of the staff at Clarion Animal Hospital for taking excellent care of our boy for the last 11 years. We would also like to thank Dr. Hoover with Peaceful Paws Clarion for making it possible for Bailey to remain at home where he was most comfortable until the very end.
