Obituary

It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce the passing of Autumn Lea Rapp, 25, of Parker, PA who left behind a community of family, friends and colleagues who deeply loved her on June 28th, 2025.

Born on September 28th, 1999, Autumn lived a life defined by her compassion, strength, and selflessness. She was a dedicated AEMT(Advanced Emergency Medical Technician) whose passion for helping others was truly inspiring, including her continuing to further her career to become an RN at BC3. She was always the first to offer comfort, a lending hand, or simply one of her unforgettable hugs. Her presence and infectious smile had a way of lighting up every room she walked into.

Autumn had a deep love for animals and spending most of her free time outdoors with the people who meant the most to her. She expressed herself through countless creative outlets, pouring her heart into the photos she took, and the crafts she made with her Cricut which we will always treasure. She shared a special bond with her dog, Ember, by spending every moment possible kayaking, hiking in the woods and enjoying an abundance of cuddles. She also cherished the quiet companionship of her three cats, Kiki, Mae & Ellie at home.

To know Autumn was to love her. Her kindness, her laughter, and her ability to make anyone feel seen and safe will be remembered forever. She was truly an incredible sister, friend, daughter, and person - someone whose absence is felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Autumn is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mildred Rapp who was the light of her life. Autumn is survived by her three sisters, Heather Rapp, Ashley Rapp and Kristin Kurschinske. She is also survived by her father George A. Rapp and step-mother Sharon Rapp of Shippenville. Her mother, Doreen Kurschinske. Also, her first cousins Rachel Tilley and her husband Logan and Kristy Baughman and her husband Sam. In addition, she also leaves Justin Shaffer behind, with whom she shared a special bond. Most importantly her beloved fur babies Ember, Kiki, Mae and Ellie who brought her the most joy in her life.
