Anna May Wingard, 81, of Clarion, passed away Saturday afternoon, September 3, 2016, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born on September 10, 1934 in Strattanville, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Mary Margaret (Hartle) Hartzell.
She was married June 14, 1958 to Jerry Wray Wingard. He preceded her in death in 2003.
Mrs. Wingard worked at various cleaning jobs after her daughter started school.
She enjoyed playing cards, going to yard sales and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jo and Scott Donaldson of Sligo; two grandchildren, Tyler Donaldson and girlfriend Bailey Lewis of Clarion, and Courtney Donaldson of Oil City; and step-grandson Adam Donaldson and wife Stephanie. She is also survived by a niece, Mary Weckerly, to whom she was very close.
She was the last remaining survivor of her immediate family.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 42 years, brothers Daniel, Howard and Joseph Hartzell; sisters Annabelle and Sarah Hartzell, Mona Blair and June Near.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made in Anna's name to a charity of the donor's choosing.
