June Baughman died on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Piney Township. She was 89 years old. June was born on August 2, 1923 in Rimer, Armstrong County, the daughter of James Floyd and Elvi (Byers) Burford. She married Arden O. Baughman in 1939. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1975. June was a homemaker and was an active member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Clarion where she taught Sunday school. June is survived by her daughter Phyllis I. Baughman of Clarion, and son Larry A. Baughman also of Clarion. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her three brothers David, Jack, and Bill Burford. Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00am on Wednesday with Rev. Jerry Breedlove, pastor of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Clarion officiating. Interment will follow in Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
