Relationship:  Friend and patient

I was deeply saddened to learn of Mrs. Suvarnakar death. Recently I've had the opportunity to talk with her more than usual when stopping by the office for written refills. As a patient for many years, I will always remember our personal and private conversations. Most of all I will never forget the love and pride expressed in her voice when we discussed her children. A smile always came across her face as she gave me an update on each of them. Please accept my deepest sympathy, and know that I'm thinking of your family.

We are all so sorry to hear of Smita's passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts in this oh so difficult time. I remember fondly many conversations that we have had over the nearly 11 years we have known one another. Those where we commiserated about the challenges and triumphs of doctoral studies are particularly memorable and make me smile. She will be greatly missed by our family.

Ushma, Anish, and Nish--I am very saddened by the loss of your wonderful mother. She was a kind, intelligent, loving person. You are all a testament to the fine job she and your dad did as parents. I enjoyed each of your distinct personalities and admired the wonderful values she was able to instill in you all. I will miss her smile. Dr. S.--Your beautiful family is evidence of the loving home created by you and your wife. My thoughts are with you during this very sad time.
