Margaret R. Forringer, age 96 of South St, Clarion, PA. died 11/15/09 at the Clarion Forest VNA Hospice House in Shippenville. Born Aug. 20, 1913 in Limestone Twp, Clarion County, she was the daughter of John and Margaret (Mauthe) Van Allen.

She was married October 15, 1932 to Russell R. (John) Forringer, who preceded her in death on April 20, 1976. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters, Harriet and Eleanor, brother John and a grandson, T.J., daughter in law Janet and her son John.

Survivors, include her children, son Paul of Ann Arbor, MI, son David and his wife Mary of Prince Frederick, MD, daughter Judy Loughren and her husband Jim of Slippery Rock, PA and daughter in law Donna Forringer of Niskayuna, NY.

Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarion. She enjoyed working for J.C.Penney in Clarion, first on Main St and then at the Clarion Mall. She retired in 1993.

She loved gardening, baking and her many friends and family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and an inspiration to her family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4, 7-9 at the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory, 330 Wood St in Clarion where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wed with Rev. Dr, Deryl Larsen and Rev. William Houben officiating. Interment will follow in the Clarion Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Clarion Forest VNA Hospice, 305 Main St, PO Box 668, Knox, PA. 16232 or to a charity of your choice.
